AEC is one of the pioneers among Indian bearing manufacturers to develop technically superior, special heavy-duty bearings for steel plants. These bearings which are used in roll neck, work roll, back-up roll and other critical application in steel mills, were earlier imported. AEC has developed double row, four-row tapered roller and cylindrical roller bearings for cold rolling mills, hot strip mills, skelp mills tandem mills, and sendzimer mills.

These heavy-duty bearings are manufactured from the finest quality high nickel-molybdenum alloy (case carburised) steel, such as SAE 4320, 3310 or 8620. Forged and roller bearings rings conforming to grain flow have been developed for heavy applications.

• Steel Plant Bearings

To make Paper industry self reliant in terms of critical spares like bearings, AEC has developed bearings for various applications like Drying Cylinders, Lineshafts, Fans, De-watering Presses, Mixers, Conveyors, Saws, De-barkder, Calender Rolls, Agitators, Hydra Pulpers ets.

Oil exploration is a major consideration for economic independence and oil field applications demand very critical and rugged spares. AEC has again taked the lead and developed most of the bearing for the same. Today AEC bearings are used in man oil field applications around the world.

• Oil Field Application Bearings

Indian Railways is the principal mode of transport in India. In almost one and a half century of its exixtence, it is successfully adapted ot he changing needs of travel in the country. AEC has developed cylindrical roller bearings and taper roller bearings in the range which are regularly used by various production units of Railways, helping to slowly indigenise their requirements.

India today has emerged as a leading manufacturer of heavy engineering and heavy eath moving equipments. To augment the supply of bearings, as OEM as well as replacement market, AEC has pioneered in the development of bearings to make these stategic industries self reliante and secure from the vagaries of international markets.

• Earth Mover Bearings

With the expansion in the power infrastructure, many power plants have come up which use huge quantities of bearigs for standard as well as critical applications. These bearngs, which until now were imported at very high costs, are now manufactured by AEC. For power plants, particularly thermal plants, the coal pulverizer is a very critical machine. AEC has developed bearings for its vertical shaft, journal shaft and worm shaft.

• Thermal Power Plant Bearings

AEC manufactures a range f bearings for various applications for mining and quarry sector. These bearings are used in various coal fields, ball mills, bucket levators, conveyors, fans, under rollers, mixers, washer graders, pinion gears pugmills, winch drums etc.

AEC has developed bearings for Cement Plants for application in converyor systems, ball mills, kiln drives, kiln under rollers, elevators, clinker breakers, fans, crushers, cranes, preheater grates, pumps, separators, pulverizers etc.
